Sean D. Griffith is an associate in the firm BARTH BERUS & CALDERON, LLP. Sean assists clients in all aspects of estate planning, probate, and trust administration. He also devotes his time to counseling and guiding small businesses through a wide range of transactional issues, including the formation, maintenance and dissolution of corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships.
· Mr. Griffith is licensed in securities and insurance (life and health). This allows him to design and implement sophisticated financial strategies for individuals and corporations seeking authoritative financial information and guidance. Before joining Barth, Berus, and Calderon, Sean worked with the financial planning firm Waddell and Reed. There he worked one on one with clients as a financial advisor, and as a supervisor who trained other advisors in financial, estate, and taxation matters.
· Before Waddell and Reed, Sean owned a private law practice and focused primarily on estate planning and taxation issues. He also worked under the Honorable Judge Ryan at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Santa Ana on both trial and appellate matters.
· Mr. Griffith received his Juris Doctor Degree from Chapman University School of Law, where he served as production editor of the Chapman Law Review.
· He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Cal Poly Pomona.
· Mr. Griffith is a member of the following associations: California Bar Association, American Bar Association Estate Planning & Taxation sections, Los Angeles County Bar Association
· Mr. Griffith volunteers for: Habitat for Humanity, The Irvine Ranch Land Reserve, and is a member of the Japanese American Historical Society of Southern California
